DETECTIVE BUREAU

The Shrewsbury Borough Police Detective Bureau is comprised of two full time detective & two patrol investigators. Each detective/investigator receives advanced training in crime scene investigation, fingerprinting & fingerprint identification, photography, interview & interrogation, crime scene forensics and drug enforcement.

The detective bureau is staffed Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. An “on call” detective can be called in after hours as the need arises. The detective bureau investigates crimes ranging from deaths to petty thefts. The most common crimes investigated are burglary, theft and all types of fraud.
