HURRICANE REPAIR INFORMATION

Freeholder Mallet's office has issued a directive concerning hurricane repair information.  If anyone is in need of home repairs because of the hurricane, while the Office of Consumer Affairs  is not able to make recommendations of contractors, they do have the ability to verify that business' are dually registered and in good standing with the State Division of Consumer Affairs. Individuals can contact the county office with the name of business they are considering and the investigators will verify their standing with the state. The county number is (732)431-7900. They are also closely monitoring price gouging so if you hear of any instances or concerns please encourage people to report it to the same number.
